Herewith are the details of the Airgun, Small-Bore and Full-Bore Competitions that
the County will be running in the coming season.
Sporting Rifle Any Sights * £2.50 Individual Sporting Rifle any
( See attached note ) type of sights, free standing with no slings etc. PL14 targets @ 20 yds.
Teams of 3 ( Handicap ) * £7.50 Also included in the above competition
Air Pistol 10 Mtrs £2.50 In all 10 Mtrs Air Competitions the appropriate N.S.R.A. series 89 targets
Air Rifle 10 Mtrs £2.50 will be used.
Air Pistol 6 Yds £2.50 Shot on Air 8 cards
Air Rifle 6 Yds £2.50 Shot on Air 7 cards
Air Rifle 6 Yds ( Junior ) £1.00 As Above, Gunscore & Handicap
Air Pistol Own Start £5.00 Choose your teams start. Cards are
Teams of 3 shot concurrently with the League.
Handicap Aggregate Competition.
Pistol 20 Yds * £2.50 Pistol on PL15 @ 20 Yds Air & .22

Air Rifle 20 Yds * £2.50 Free standing Air Rifle, any sights,
( See attached note ) no slings etc. 0.177 or 0.22 on
PL14 targets @ 20 Yds.
Black Powder Pistol £2.50 Any type of Black Powder Pistol.
Only one card per round due to loading limitations. 10 shots @
20 Yds on a PL12 target.
Underlever Rifle £2.50 Free standing Full-Bore Rifle.
( See attached note ) No slings etc. Any Calibre. Shot on PL15 targets @ 20 Yds.
Standard Sporting Rifle £2.50 Sporting Rifle competition for 0.22
Semi automatic rifles. Three cards Per round on PL12 targets.
Slow Fire – 2 x 5 shots in 150 sec.
Timed Fire – 2 x 5 shots in 20 sec.
Rapid Fire – 2 x 5 shots in 10 sec.
Gallery Rifle £2.50 Underlever Rifle equivalent of the old PP1 Competition. Three cards per round. PL12
targets @ 20 Yds.
Slow Fire, 12 shots in 5 min. this includes reloads.
Timed Fire, one shot per 2 second exposure ( x 6 ) twice.
Rapid Fire, two shots per 2 second exposure ( x 3 ).
* To avoid clubs incurring additional expenses on targets, the Competitions shot on
PL14 and PL15 targets may be shot on one type of target. They will scored as the
correct target for that particular competition.
Match Secretaries must ensure that averages, for each shooter in each
competition, are included with all entries.
Closing dates for competition entries.
For the Summer Season – The first Monday in April.
For the Winter Season – The first Monday in October.
Please note that late entries will not be accepted.
Please note that the trophies for the Winter Season will be
presented at the County AGM, the details of which will follow at a
later date. Would all clubs ensure that they have a
representative attending the meeting to collect any trophies
won by their club.
